2nd ISULONG MO! Rapid Chess Tournament

Got plans for the Labor Day on May 1? Why not join spend the midweek reprieve that's chess related?

The 2nd Isulong Mo Rapid Chess Tournament is happening on May 1, 2012 on the third floor, Food Court of Alphaland Southgate Mall, Makati City. This event is sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines

Some reminders:

• The tournament is open to all non-titled chess players, but women titled players may join.
• The tournament is divided in to two divisions. (KIDDIES & OPEN-AGE)
• Participants should present proof of age (e.g. birth certificate, any gov't. identification card)
• The tournament of mode play is 7 rounds for the KIDDIES and 8 rounds SWISS for Non-Master.
• Rate of play is 25 minutes for the KIDDIES and 20 minutes for the Open-age division.
• FIDE Laws of chess shall govern the tournament. (ground rules will be posted onsite)

Entry Fee:  Non-Master : P250.00 Kiddies - P200.00

Number of participants will be limited only as follows:

Kiddies division -maximum of 100 entries only / Non-Master division –maximum of 128 entries only

Registration starts at 8:30 am up to 10:00 am. The first 100 registrants are entitled to a raffle prizes.
