Bro Francis, 25 chess players of all ages participated. We have turned away some guys who came in late.
ReplyDeleteThe competition was intense. There were several strong players, like coaches.
The format was knock-out 2 games. Time control 5/3 with armageddon in case of tie-break.
In the finals, we have one named Samuel Senador who is a brother of IM Emmanuel Senador vs Kenneth Ryan Sumilie, an unrated player.
Kenneth Ryan won the first Wesley Chess Cafe tournament and went home 2,500 pesos richer.
