Philippine's number chess player GM Wesley So is playing in the Aeroflot 2010 Tournament and as of this round, he is carrying a score of 4.5 out of 8 rounds. Also as of this writing, he is the winningest junior player in the A1 tournament.
Wesley's friend and compatriot GM Darwin Laylo is not performing well and in fact has produced zero's in seven games and a draw in the 4th round. At this level of competition, only the prepared warrior can really move up to the standings.
Let's hope and pray Wesley will at least be the top junior of the tournament like lat year and Darwin start to win games.
