The first ever State of the Nation Address of President Noynoy Aquino is happening tomorrow, July 26, 2010 at the Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City. Former President and now Lower House member Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will not be there to hear and watch the speech. Mrs. Arroyo will be in Hong Kong on Monday afternoon to join husband Jose Miguel “Mike" Arroyo for a checkup on his heart condition.
The SONA day is a regular working day except for a few offices in Quezon City. As such, a lot of Filipinos will miss this historic event. Good thing is, you can Watch President Noynoy Aquino SONA 2010 Live Streaming on the Internet.
I was trying to look for Former President Corazon Aquino's first ever SONA but what keeps on showing up is her last one on July 1992. Because of that, I chose to share below a very nice photo-video of The Presidents of the Philippines: From 1898 to 2010.
So what will be in P.Noy's first State of the Nation Address will be? Your guess is as good as mine.

What can you expect? A speech written by propagandist attacking the past administration to cover up their incompetence.
ReplyDeleteThe presidency is not about revenge, a good leader should be forward looking and we cannot succeed by dwelling in the past.
Aquino and his supporters do not want to be criticized but ironically he has guts to criticize the past administration.
We cannot expect something from nothing.
