One of the chess pillars in our country, Mr. Bobby Ang, is an alumnus of Xavier School. Mr. John Sy, the man behind the successful Xavier Inter-Scholastic Chess Tournament is at present a math teacher... that makes him an alumnus too (though I'm not sure if he is also a product of Xavier's education.

What are you waiting for? bring one bring all!
NCFP listen up, if these private agencies can do it, all the more you can do this for the development of our young players. Chess development program is not just providing our players tournaments on a quarterly basis but I believe a year-round chess training and learning should given too.
NCFP can do it!
There's not enough money in it for the NCFP to do something like this. If you're doing it primarily for the money, it will never happen. There are easier (and far more lucrative) ways of making money than running chess tournaments and clinics. Just ask the FG!
