Filipino FM Paolo del Mundo, one of our country's pride, just posted his first ever post for Philippine Chess Chronicles! Hoorray! Yahooo! Yehey! And all the words that could give you the meaning of happiness. Hahahahah!
Nice one Paolo!
I received an email from one of our readers, Mr. John Manahan asking me about the GM title captured by Joseph Sanchez. I thank you so much for writing. I will check out the info about Joseph sanchez. Thanks.
Here is something we could all learn from, Newsweek's interview with Garry Kasparov. World champion for 22 dominant years. Read between the lines este, variations.
A bang on my head and a boom on my mind:
Levy: Using chess terms, describe your current political situation.
Kasparov: Chess probably is not the best comparison, because in chess we are all playing by the rules. This regime refused to play by the rules for many years.
Plenty of comparisons with chess and real life but political issues, say, playing by the rules, is not one of them. Nice!
Something we Filipinos should learn from regarding this recent (and frequent) political bru-ha-ha-ha in our land. They call the man who stands as a witness in the senate inquiry on ZTE scandal as a hero... I don't! All of them got dirt on their hands (and pocket), @#*&!!!!
