GM Mark Paragua and FM Paolo del Mundo were the first few students MCC has given lessons. FM Paolo, one of our PCC Team members, is now based in Vienna , Virginia USA, is busy working as a software engineer.
Congratulations to MCC!
And here's something we could look into as to the friendships formed thru chess.
While into the idea of friendships formed thru chess, maybe we could also look into the Vietnamese performance in the recently held Aeroflot 2008. We all know IM's Sadorra and Gomez landed way beyond the top 20, we have an excuse for this, we were so distracted with the current political instability in our land. Thanks to corruption... and thanks to the last minute replacements, Arrgh!
Guys, it's the Olympiad year, what we are doing?
