Finally, the NCFP decides, quietly and without much publicity (after months of contribution-publication system, they have decided to suspend IM Ronald Dableo for a year. The news says they (there are other chess players who received a suspension)have not received a copy of the decision and that they would only act on it once they receive theirs.
Well at least the "suspected" players get to do their part, that is, to defend themselves and legally go thru the process!

ReplyDeleteWhat will happen to a chess player if he/she is "suspended"? I mean, suspended from "what"? Like joining tournaments? Are they also suspended from being a coach?
