To have this "One Program" sytematized and institutionalized in the Philippines is what the La Sallian brother Rolando Dizon,FSC is aiming for:
"We have a rich source of talent from the grassroots. Unless we do something to institutionalize chess training we will never be able to be at par with the rest of the world... If only we can find a way for chess to be included in Physical Education subjects, I believe this will go a long way in helping us institutionalize chess development in our country"

I would be very interested to see a program such as this implmented as it is in many countries. I'm here in the US, where chess takes a huge backseat to other sports, and find that football coaches get paid 5 or 6% more to coach but the chess club sponsor has to work for free.
