Camel Day Has Ended

Hello!

Camel day has ended and the last two events for the day capped the 4 day vacation here in Marrakech namely, Italian dinner with my two boys and an hour of solitary bliss at the Piano Bar.

Interestingly, the bar presented a guitar player who played 1 sting music I forgot the title but definitely grooved me to order one bottle of SMB, yes, San Miguel Beer. They had it on their list but they didnt have stock.

So I got the next available beer which was Heineken...

Came signing time, the guy politely asked if I was from Thailand... and taas noo I said "Filipino, from the Philippines"

And proudly said "that's why I ordered San Miguel beer because it's from the Philippines"

Then the waiter said, "Philippines? I thought it's Mexican"

I said, "No, Philippines!"

Hehehe! The third time for me to be asked if I was from Thailand here in this hotel.

Anyways, I'm bored posting photos individually so I'll try these collage:

Sasabihin ko nga sana na "What is Thailand? Where is Thailand?" Hahahah! I had one bottle and thought it was enough.

Paglabas ko ng bar, mali ang nalusutan kong pinto kaya sa garden ako napunta, ang lamig pa naman. Siguro may 10 minutes din ako nagpaikot ikot before ako nakakuha ng pinto na bumubukas. Then lumusot lusot ako following the direction that says "Recepcion'".

There are certain words that I call universal. Numbers like 1-1000 or more is easily understood in any language, hotel signs are made in a way that it is easily understood by any person coming from any part of the globe.

I got this insight while I was left alone in Le' Atlas Mountain. I asked a nearby monitor if he knows the height of the mountain. He said "pardo" which means sorry or pardon in English. He says French or Arabic only. So, umiral na naman yung gestural communication ko. But when i said, Altitude, he gave me an answer, a number which was high, as in ultra high. If it was your school grade, you'll be a Valedictorian maybe.

Anyways, need to go back to Meknes na. Nakakapagod na ang bakasyon. Need tog et back to my routine.

T'was a great experience.

Lastly, natutuwa lang ako. Pagdating ko sa oom, wala yung dalawa then after about 5 minutes they came in slowly sensing that I was in the room aleady.

Then they said "You're drunk, your drunk... You got 2 bottles of beer"

Then sabi, "pano nyo nalaman na naka dalawa ako?"

Then sabi nung isa, "no, Isa lang"

Sagot naman nung isa "tinannong namin yung tao sa bar pag alis mo"

"Ini-stalk ninyo ko?" I said.

"You should have joined me instead and enjoyed the music with me."

Anyways, natatawa ko kasi mga incoming teenager and big deal sa kanila ang mga stuff like beer, adulthood and other words I would rather not write here.

Safi!
