4th NAPCA Trainers and Coaches Seminar

Here's their announcement:

"Chessplayers wants to be a teacher in chess are invited to participate in the “4th NAPCA TRAINER AND COACHES SEMINAR” to be held on October 11-12, 2008 at the seminar room of GSN-ISEEC Corporate Office 92-A Prosperity West Center, West Ave., cor. Baler St., Quezon City. The seminar is organized by the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA) and the Youth Chess Charitable Foundation (YCCF) California, USA.

The program aims to comprehend the proper way of teaching chess to their students. Chessplayers who wants to be a trainer or coach are most welcome to attend the said seminar and the invitation is also open to the representatives of Sports Department of Cities and Municipalities, Chess Clubs, Schools and any Organization.

Seminar facilitator is FIDE ARBITER & FIDE INSTRUCTOR LAWYER ROMMEL TACORDA and DAVID HUFF, Founder of YCCF.

Among the topics that will be learned are Chess History, Levels of Training, Terminologies, Principles of Opening Strategy, Checkmating patterns, Playing Strength Assessment, Tactics, and many others. The seminar fee of Php 1,500.00 inclusive of meal, uniform and materials.
