Hey there!
After beating Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL) in round 6 in the NCAA Juniors with a score of 3-1, the San Sebastian College-Recoletos (SSC-R)lead the team tourney with a score of 16.5points.
SSC-R's Valenzuela and Kristian Cristobal drew with Cherry Ann Mejia and Jan Jodylin Fronda on boards 4 and 2 respectively while Arvie Jongko won over Ranilo Gil Biag on board 3. The match between Loren Laceste and MJ Turqueza was the game of the day (for me!) and it was MJ winning over his opponent while handling the black pieces. Tough match and was a nice game to see.
Here are the team results:
Jose Rizal University vs University of Perpetual Help 0-4
College of St. BenildeLSGH - Mapua Institute of Technology 3-1
