Hey there!
We now have the top five finishers of Philippine Olympiad Qualifier for Dresden 2008:
1st IM John Paul Gomez
2nd GM Wesley So
3rd GM Buenaventura Villamayor
4th GM Jayson Gonzales
5th GM Darwin Laylo
IM John Paul Gomez stoned two birds in one hit by nailing his first GM norm. Congratulations!
I wonder who'd complete the 6th and final slot for our Olympic team... Will it be the winner of the much hyped Torre vs Antonio match?
We'll find out in the coming weeks!
