Hey there!
Here we go again reading thru chess alerts in my inbox. Some are juicy-newsy and some, well, alerts!
Let's start with Greg Naylor's King Valley Watchdog Blogpost he called Life is a game of chess and see from his standpoint what he meant by that.
Next stop is GulfNew.com's article about GM Adly of Egypt wherein he shares to us the story of his chess life, how he helped popularize chess in Egypt and somehow find sponsorships for the sports. At the end of of the article, our very own GM Wesley is mentioned!
After 8 rounds, GM Wesley So still leads the Dubai Open 2008 sharing it with GM's Gagunashvili Merab of Georgia and Li Chao B of China. Numerics would tell us that Wesley is still on top with a Tiebreaks 1 of 17653 while his fellow top placers have 17517 and 17065 respectively.
Keep it up Wesley! Go go go!
