4th LEG OF PHILWEB-HUMAN PLUS

EXECUTIVE ACTIVE CHESSFEST

All roads lead to the 4th leg of the exciting 2009 Philweb Corpo-ration- Human Plus – National Executive Active Chess Championships this coming May 16 (Saturday) 1 pm at the Human Resources Development Conference Room of the Department of Agrarian Reform, Elliptical Road, Quezon City.

Philweb Corporation, a Makati-based IT company located at The Enterprise Center in Ayala, is the main sponsor of this event, There are two divisions: Group A, (Executive Masters and those who have current Standard rating of 2000 and above and Group B (those who have current NCFP Standard rating of 1999 and below or those who are still unrated.) Qualified to join are professionals with PRC IDs, businessmen, entre-preneur, military officers, government employees and OFWs.

The first two legs in Group A was won by Dr. Jenny Mayor while NM Randy Segarra captured the 3rd leg . In Group B, lawyer Cliburn Orbe annexed the first leg while engineer Joseph Galindo, an OFW from Saudi, grabbed the second and third legs, for a back-to back victory.

There will be 10 legs with the cash-rich 16-man Grand Finals sche-duled in September. The Top 8 from Group A and Group B in Grand Prix standings will advance to the finals.
