I never knew there exists a Gabor Pali on the face of the Earth. Sadly he is now the center of Gaborgate Scandal. Hungarian Chess Federation Official Statement, Kibitzer's Corner and the Delhi Chess Association blog post.

If all expenses are paid we wont see anyone spending time behind bars but this is something big. In an age when everything can be done online like payment of fees, visa application and flight reservation, chess players are called on to be cautious and choosy (picky?) when joining chess tourneys ouside of their country borders. Poor guy!
