GM Antonio These Days

National Master and freelance newspaper correspondent Marlon Bernardino has for the past few weeks sent us articles and photos of GM Joey Antonio. Although year 2008 will be remembered as the year when he and GM Torre opted out of the national qualifying for the Dresden Olympic team, these days he made news by winning tourneys in the USA. I really believe our performance in the 2008 Olympiad would have been different if only we had the preparation done together and yes, GM's Torre and Antonio included in the team via the qualifying.
