Hey there!
RP Men's Team drew 2 - 2 with an all-GM Greece team in the 4th round and a 5th round win against another all-GM Iran Team 2.5 - 1.5 in the 38th World Chess Olympiad in Dresden Germany.
RP Ladies losses their match against Team Belarus with a score of 1.5 - 2.5 in the 4th round but went on to win their 5th round match against the Kiwis with a score of 3.5 - .5.
The 38th World Chess Olympiad is now on it's 6th round and yes, Team Philippines momentum is shooting and hopefully it lasts till the end for a good top ten finish.
Going into the 6th round, RP Men's Team is placed on 28th of the standings while our Ladies Team is on 58th. It will be Sweden vs RP Ladies and Philippines vs Spain.
Men's Team Philippines, do not forget what those Spaniards did to our ancestors, they made life miserable for us for 300 plus years. They called the Filipinos Indios, Illustrado....It's payback time! We've saved their colonies, now we'll rock their brains out! Go Team Philippines! Hehehehe!
