Tragic Kingdom

This phrase I used came from the 1996 Album Release of No Doubt. One of the many bands of 90's era, my college life! If you want to know what kind of a college student I was, the best way to get a feel of who I was, is to check out my collection of pirated music CD's and tell you, No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom is one of the very few originals bought. After all, their music in this album is not really a tragic one.

And why am I talking about this Tragic Kingdom album? Simply because after eleven years of release 2007, we can also call our chess experience in the Philippines, a Tragic Kingdom. With the release of Attorney Samuel Estimo's letter to the media, including the online blogs available in the cyberverse, one can't help and look upon the Philippines and the way chess has progressed in the country (?)and say "Tragic!"

Oooops! By the way, here's another email from the man of the hour, Attorney Samuel Estimo:

Some comments I found really interesting:

"Please change the slideshow and put some female players of our country"

My reply: Please send me pictures of RP's female chessers!

"Do you have Garry Kasparov's email ad?"

My reply: If I did, I would still ask him if it's okey if I give it to you.

Some of the comments are rather unpostable or I mischecked the box for publishing, rejection and moderation.
